Kennnington Alpacas can be found in Duns Tew, east of the Cotswolds, between Oxford and Banbury within easy reach of the M40.

The first delivery of alpacas arrived in Duns Tew in May 2006. Having no livestock experience we took our first delivery of animals with excitement and some trepidation!

Our aim was to selectively breed huacaya alpacas of varied colours and improve animal conformation and fleece characterisitics. After only 3 years we have made progress by only using high quality stud males to complement our females, which has resulted in some stunning cria born this year.

The welfare of our animals is paramount and with a relatively small herd it is possible to ensure each alpaca is monitored closely on a daily basis, with owner and alpaca developing an understanding of one another.

We endevour to train our animals to accept head colloars and hand feeding in order that we can offer friendly, relaxed animals that are easily managed for our clients.
